As the Office Manager and Frame Stylist at Park Eye Center since 2004 I strive to provide our doctors, staff and patients with excellent service in a variety of areas. My longevity at the practice has provided me with vast knowledge both behind the scenes and with all aspects of patient care and customer service. My true specialty is my ability and desire to work one-on-one with patients to find them the perfect pair of glasses, both lenses and frames to suit their face, personality, vision requirements and budget. Fashion is a passion of mine both at the office and in my personal life and I enjoy transferring that love into every frame selection to make you look amazing in your new eyewear.
In my spare time I enjoy blogging about fashion, trying new restaurants and spending time with family, friends and my Chihuahua.
Having been in the optical field for 29 years, and with Park Eye Center since 1999 I have gained extensive knowledge as an optical technician. I pride myself on my craftsmanship of glasses and my ability to repair them. I am here for you to make, fix and adjust your glasses with a smile.
When I’m not working in the lab I enjoy working on my car and spending time with family and friends.
I have been in the optometry field since 2009; as a doctor’s assistant and team leader I try to make sure the Park Eye Center experience is always courteous, conscientious and pleasant. As lead technician, I will professionally guide you through the pre-tests prior to your meeting with the doctor and when you’re ready, I will expertly help you pick out the best frame for you.
I’m always on hand to make sure Park Eye Center is first-rate and ready for your visit. But in my free time I enjoy weekend adventures, expressing my artistic side and baking, especially perfecting my homemade pizza.
I was born in Atlanta, Georgia but soon came north and grew up on Long Island. I am a graduate of Cornell University and Yale University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, specializing in 18th century British history. Before working at Park Eye Center, I was an editorial assistant on the Yale Editions of the Journals and Correspondence of James Boswell , the Hyde-Princeton Edition of the Correspondence of Samuel Johnson and later worked in the private library of a Samuel Johnson collector. I have lived in Highland Park since 1990.
I am the Medical Biller at Park Eye Center, but also work extensively at the front desk.
Having been employed in the field of Medical Billing for the past seven years, I am uniquely qualified to help our patients understand what is covered by insurance, as well as what their financial responsibilities may be. I strive for total satisfaction in my interactions with patients and will always go the extra mile to help resolve any questions or queries.
In my spare time I love to get outside, either gardening at home or walking local nature trails.
Hi everyone! My name is Sushma and I recently graduated from Rutgers University. I’m pursuing a career as an Optometrist and will be joining the New England College of Optometry in Boston soon! I have been working at Park Eye Center as an Optometric Assistant for about 2 years now and very much enjoy interacting with various patients and helping them during pre-screening services, specialty scans, and contact lens insertion and removal lessons. I believe eyeglasses are a fashion accessory and love helping patients select new frames they feel comfortable wearing. I work to ensure patients have an overall positive experience at our office!
I joined Park Eye Center in 2016. As an optometrist assistant, I administer the many important tests before you see the doctor, such as the eye pressure check, peripheral vision testing, and retinal imaging.
When not helping patients in the office, I enjoy cooking and spending time at the library.
